Are you bored and looking for new and exciting ways to stay entertained? Then we might just have the thing for you. It is so crazy and outrageous that it will quickly suck you in. Get ready for the air sex competition, a unique and unusual contest that has taken the world by storm over the last few years. Believe it or not, there is even a World Championship and some people take their performance extremely seriously. For those who are not afraid to display their sex routine in public or for those who just like to show off their talents, this is the perfect competition. If you have no other talents, who knows, you might have it in you to be the next air sex world champion.

The competition is actually quite simple; you have 2 minutes to perform your air sex show and you can include whatever you like, from seduction to actual intercourse. Two minutes might sound like an eternity for some people, while others might think they cannot possibly express all their talent in this short time. Following the first-round of acts, the judges pick the best performances to move to the next round. to compete for prizes from local merchants. Believe it or not, from local competitions, the winners go on to the regional stage and if they are really talented, to the big World Championship, held in Austin, Texas each year.

The air sex competition is not just fun to participate in; it’s also extremely hilarious to watch. If you are dying to see people make fools of themselves, this is the perfect opportunity. From the weirdest and most outrageous performances to the more conservative and theatrical, the performances are sure to keep you entertained and laughing your brains out.

Although this crazy event started in 2009 as an air guitar parody, it soon became a phenomenon and air sex competitions are popping up all over the United States. Some might find the air sex competition a little too out there, but most have embraced this new pastime and love to watch these funny and crazy performances. You will be amazed of what people imagine and put on stage. So if you are looking for unusual entertainment, visit this competition, you will not be sorry. Who knows, you might have it in you to be the next air sex world champion. Just keep practicing!

China is a place of wonders and marvels, so you should expect everything and anything while traveling to this magical destination. With so many of the world’s records and such a deep and invigorating contrast, China will surely amaze you. Where else in the world could you find the Gate of Heaven and walk through it? The place we are talking about is truly inspiring and deserves this overwhelming name. The Heaven’s Gate is a natural cave arch, formed through millions of years of erosion. This huge window in the sky is one of the best landmarks of the country and will surely awe anyone who sets his or her eyes upon the arch.

Honestly, you probably won’t find true heaven in this place and there are probably other ways to make sure you make it to the real heaven, but while on earth, it is one of those places that could be described as a natural heaven. But enough with these words of wisdom and let’s get back to the point. This enormous natural arch is located in the northern Hunan province of China, just 8 km south of the city of Zhangjiajie (formerly known as Dayong, if it helps you). This place might be known as the Heaven’s Gate, but the road leading to this exceptional natural site could as well be named the Highway to Hell.

To reach the summit where this arch is located, you first have to take the skytram, which, by the way, may be the longest in the world at over 7 km. Then you take a bus on a very winding road, taking you closer to the peak. As if this was not enough, you will also have to climb some stairs. Don’t worry though, it’s not like there are thousands of stairs to climb…there are just 999. But the view and sight of the Heaven’s Gate will be worth any sacrifice and effort. The panorama you have from the top is truly inspiring and fascinating; with the light passing through the arch and lighting the distant mountain peaks.

A gift for the adventurer inside you, this exclusive Survival Knife could become your next best friend during your trips and hikes. Even if you are not Bear Grylls and you don’t plan on using it to skin animals or cut bamboo, the knife will prove an essential travel gear item. You have to admit that sometimes you wish you could take Bear Grylls’s place and go on all those amazing adventures. OK, maybe you won’t dive from a helicopter over a snowy peak or swim in a freezing lake, or eat the most odd and unusual things, but you could have a knife just as cool as Bear. This Survival Knife is perfect for all your outdoor needs.

The Bear Grylls Survival Knife is strong and durable, with its molded rubber grip, allowing perfect maneuverability and use. Whether you use it to build a shelter in the wild or just to cut your freshly fished trout, the knife blade will last for a lifetime. The knife, well, it’s not just any knife. This survival tool adds a few features that could prove essential in any emergency case. The fine edge of this serrated knife will last forever to heavy tear and wear. Also, the saw ground back blade could solve a lot of problems while you are traveling in the great outdoors.

One of the coolest things Bear manages to do in his show is ignite fire in the blink of an eye. Well, now you have the same power, with the integrated fire starter and diamond sharpener. This could prove life-saving in some situations and you must admit that is a cool addition. The key ground-air communication patch is a nice thing to have on you when going into the wild and assuring the safety of you and your family or fellow travelers. And just to keep thing interesting, you also have an emergency micro lanyard whistle. With so many features and cool gadgets, this knife designed together with survivalist Bear Grylls would be the perfect gift for you.

Despite common belief, the Bear Grylls knife is not urine-activated.

The Devastation Trail at Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park owes its birth to the 1959 eruption of the Kilauea volcano. Between Nov. 14 and Dec, 20, 1959 the volcano spewed hot, naughty lava all over the nearby lands. By the time the eruption was over, the lush rain forest that stretched across the area was completely devastated, with trees burnt to a crisp and cooling lava everywhere.

Today, the devastation Trail is a paved half-mile road that straddles the edge of the devastated lands. The trail is fairly easy to hike and can be completed round-trip in 45 minutes. The trail is free to hike so go see it before “life” manages to find a way to encroach on the pristine lifeless environment.

Just 23 miles (37 km) west of Austin, Texas, there’s a hidden swimming hole. Well it was hidden prior to the ’60s, before automobiles became available to the common man, after which kids flocked to this previously inaccessible place like to Woodstock, and for much the same reasons. Hamilton Pool’s popularity quickly soared and the sheer volume of visitors hurt the surrounding land and ecosystem.

In 1980, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department cited Hamilton Pool as the most significant natural area in rural Travis County and in 1990 this historic swimming hole was designated a preserve. The area was revitalized with a strict land management plan, and a lot of the traffic subsided because of the restrictions like: no alcohol, access until 6pm, and even on swimming (though most of the time swimming is allowed).

Now the Hamilton Pool Nature Preserve is again (somewhat) hidden, and a trip there is well worth it. Thousands of years of water erosion created a unique natural area that gets most Disney animators thinking about a career change.

With ridiculously addictive games on your phone like Candy Crush draining power in a matter of minutes, you probably wish you had the old Nokia with its year-long battery life. But everyone has that idea, and if you and everyone else starts carrying the old phone around, you’re not going to be cool anymore! No, better stick to your individuality with the iPhone or the new Galaxy and get a pocket power generator instead.

Eton’s BoostTurbine 2000 is a pocket-sized, hand-powered rechargeable lithium backup battery. Hand cranking that bad-boy for one minute can produce enough power for about 4 minutes of talk time. And when the BoostTurbine 2000 is fully charged, you’ll have enough power to completely refill most smartphone batteries.

With a micro-USB DC input and a standard USB port, you can charge just about anything while looking like an environmentally friendly hipster.

Up there with watches, HD televisions, and my goddamn brand new iPhone, cameras are notoriously bad swimmers. Noticing this shortcoming, OUTEX creators Roberto Miglioli and JR deSouza created the world’s premier SLR camera waterproofing kit.

The OUTEX kit offers a complete solution for most SLR camera brands, including covers, optical lens, viewfinder, and the base accessories you need to get you started snapping underwater photos of all those silly fish. The kits cost around $200 depending the camera you are trying to fit, which is a lot cheaper than dropping my goddamn brand new iPhone into the pool.

We’ve written about pink lakes on TheAdvenTourist before, but there’s no reason Australia should get all the glory in pink-lakedness. Roughly 10km northeast of Senegal’s capital city of Dakar, lies the pink lake, Retba.

As the case with Lake Hillier, Lake Retba’s pink color stems from its tiny inhabitants. The lake’s high salt content creates a perfect environment for the salt-loving Dunaliella salina micro-algae, which glow pink as a result of their ability to produce large amounts of organic pink pigments known as Carotenoids. The micro-algae is completely harmless to humans, which makes swimming in Lake Retba entirely possible.

The best time to visit Lake Retba is during the dry season, which lasts from November to June, when increased exposure to the sun causes the bacteria to produce the most red pigment. The lake is becoming a more popular tourist destination and the number of accommodations near the lake is increasing. There are several hotels around the lake and the number of organized tours from Dakar is growing as well. On the downside, visitors to Lake Retba need to be aware of opportunistic swindlers who try to capitalize on foreigners through gouging and in some cases theft.

Much like other pink lakes, Lake Rebta is separated from the ocean by a few hundred meters. At one point, Retba was connected to the ocean but over time was cut off by encroaching sands. By being cut off from the ocean’s water supply, Retba’s water would evaporate faster than it could be replenished, causing the salinity of the lake to increase over time. Today the lake has approximately the same salinity as the Dead Sea.

‘Should we go for a swim first, or should we go straight for the Jacuzzi?’ – It’s always been a hard decision to make, but thanks to one rebellious soul unwilling to enjoy these activities successively, you can now do both at the same time! Grab 5 of your “friends” and hit the lake in your very own Hot Tub Boat.

Hot Tub Boat is capable of reaching 5 mph in calm waters, and is controlled much in the same way a jet fighter is – with a joystick. And with 4 ice chests for your refreshments, and a waterproof stereo with two 50-watt speakers for your music, it’s the perfect party boat. We’re just wondering why it’s not amphibious?

Show dirt who’s boss by getting behind the wheel of a Caterpillar D5G Track-Type Bulldozer or Caterpillar 3I5CL Hydraulic Excavator at the Dig This heavy equipment playground.

Located just outside the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dig This let’s you control a full-size bulldozer or excavator that you can use to build huge mounds, push gigantic tire, teeter-totter over mound of dirt, dig gigantic trenches, stack 2,000 pound tires, play “Bucket Basketball”, and more.

No experience necessary. All you have to do is be 14 years or older, and not drunk. A 90 minute session runs for $249, a group session for up to 10 people runs for $1100. The company also offers a Dig & Destroy package which combines the excitement of operating construction equipment in an adult-sized sandbox with the exhilaration of firing semi-automatic and fully-automatic weapons.
